My Bio

~ Favorite shows: Brothers & Sisters, Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, The Young and the Restless, Castle, The Office, and old episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Roswell, Angel, Felicity, Arrested Development, Dallas, Golden Girls, and Sex and the City. There are several shows that I plan to start watching as soon as possible, too: True Blood, Bones, I have more of both Buffy and Angel to watch, I've heard I need to check out How I Met Your Mother, and I'm curious to see the new show Life this winter.
~ Favorite Movies: Gone With the Wind, Garden State, Atonement, Dirty Dancing, A Streetcar Named Desire, Steel Magnolias, Little Miss Sunshine, Fight Club, Clueless, Pride and Prejudice, Rachel Getting Married, Twilight, My Fair Lady, The Upside of Anger, and Shakespeare in Love - I also really love the television miniseries North and South.
~ Favorite Food: Strawberry Shortcake (real, homemade shortcake), Pizza, Peanut M&M's, Swedish Fish, Sweettarts, string cheese, and water (that's all I drink)
~ Favorite Colors: Red, Black, and White
~ Favorite Music: I'm SUCH an Indie music fan! I love Sirius/XM Radio. :D (XMU is the only station anyone should ever listen to.) For my current selections, see the sidebar. As for my all time favorites, that honor goes to Rilo Kiley (Jenny Lewis solo, too) and Cat Power. Indie chicks rock!
~ I also have two cats. (Aw, they're so adorable.) Allesandra, Allie for short, has short, black and white fur, and Akasha who is her mother. She's more white and gray than her daughter. And my sister, Kristen, has a dog (a Corgi) named Foxy Cleopatra that I seem to take care of quite frequently, much more so than she herself does. We're the bestest of friends. :P

My Hobbies

Other hobbies besides reading, writing, watching tv, and listening to music include shopping...yeah, that's about it. Oh, I love sports! Go Red Sox and Notre Dame, not to mention Tiger Woods, too. Yeah, so basically my life is pretty centric around my writing, reading, and television viewing habits. Lame, I know, but it doesn't leave time for other hobbies.

My Occupation

While still aiming for that pie in the sky, dream post-college job, I substitute teach and help erode the minds of the small town masses by renting out less than stellar video material. Woo. Go me.
